I AM EDNA will take 1 trend and divide it in to 3 sections. The first shows pictures to inspire, to create a feeling and paint a picture of a current trend. A kind of mood board commonly used by designers before creating their final products, for them to find inspiration for materials and colour combinations. A creative process that we all can tap into and find use of when strolling the shops for our next favourite outfit. The second is to show different designers and their collections, where the trend is evident. Finally, the third section is to display how people, like you and me, have taken the trend and incorparated it in their everyday outfit.

Pastel is a colour palette that takes your mind to bubble gum, ice cream, milkshakes and Walt Disney World. The 8-year-old girl that would only wear cotton candy pink is again awakened, and although most of us are hesitant to take the trend head to toe, there are always ways of getting a My Little Pony feel into your everyday outfit.
Style your pastels with a hot pink or fire red to make the outfit pop. Alternatively, pair with smoother colours like white, beige and grey to tone it down, chanelling the stripes of Neopolitan ice cream. Why not just take the trend to your fingertips and paint your nails in Rainbow Brite colours? How about simply a light lilac or fair pink lip or a mint green lace in your favourite spring loafers, to match the ever brighter days ahead.
